How to contribute

riamap is a community site that maps the world of RIA technologies based on user experience. It is open to the general public. To contribute new content or modify existing content, please sign up for riamap. We will send you a confirmation mail after your sign up is completed.

How to add a technology

After you have successfully logged in, you can start adding new technologies. Just provide the requested information.

How to edit content

All the details of a technology can be edited by any authenticated riamap user at anytime. Just click on [edit] or any other action marked by square brackets [].

After entering the details for a new technology, you can start adding tags. riamap will help you find existing tags as you type.

How to connect the technology to riamap

Within riamap you can connect a RIA technology to another related RIA technology, e.g. all technologies that use Flash. This is similar to adding tags.

Add your rating to mark the strength of this newly established relation.

Click [lost password?] and send us your riamap username. We will generate and send you a new password.

Search

The search function searches the name, tags and description of all listed technologies. If you are looking for an exact phrase, enclose the words in double quote marks.
